Our Approach
Our firm has a transparent pricing structure that combines best quality with affordability. Costs and fees are discussed during the first consultation. Our invoice statements are clear and detailed. They can consist of three elements:Lawyer Fees
These are charged for services provided by a lawyer. The standard hourly fee is discussed during the first consultation. We differentiate between prices charged to private individuals and companies, as well as between those applied to more or less complex, or urgent cases etc. Rates will be discussed and established for each case, based on these criteria.Costs to third parties
These are costs which will be paid to third parties, including court bailiffs, notaries, translators and public bodies as official fees for administrative documents and services, court fees.Administrative Costs
Such costs are incurred by the lawyer and include infrastructure, communications, administration and archiving. This cost will usually be rounded at 15% of the total invoiced amount. With a concern for transparency, and in order to allow you to monitor the ongoing cost of your lawyer’s intervention, you will be asked for provisions on fees and expenses on a regular basis.
During the first consultation, we will check if our costs and fees are covered by any form of legal assistance insurance. If you are eligible for legal aid by the pro deo system, we will check whether we can assist you under these terms or we will redirect you to the Office for Legal Assistance.
